Poland celebrated Armed Forces Day with military parades, naval displays, and speeches by Prime Minister Donald Tusk outlining key defense priorities.

Poland celebrated Armed Forces Day with nationwide commemorations marking the anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, highlighted by a large military parade in the capital and a naval display off Gdynia.

Speaking during the maritime events in Gdynia, Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized national defense and deterrence as essential for preventing conflict. Tusk outlined four key security pillars: secure borders, robust international alliances, increased defense investments, and economic development. He also visited the PGZ Naval Shipyard to inspect progress on the frigate Wicher, constructed under the Miecznik defense initiative to strengthen Baltic maritime operations. Defense officials confirmed that armed forces were fully prepared following final rehearsals along Warsaw's Wisłostrada highway.
