Poland marked Armed Forces Day on 15 August with major military parades in Warsaw and Gdynia, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk highlighted national defense modernization and deterrence.

Poland marked Polish Armed Forces Day on 15 August, commemorating the 1920 Battle of Warsaw with nationwide military demonstrations, including a major parade along Warsaw's Wisłostrada and a naval review off Gdynia.

Attending the maritime events on the Baltic coast, Prime Minister Donald Tusk visited the PGZ Naval Shipyard to inspect construction on the Wicher, the first of three frigates under the Miecznik modernization program. In his address, Tusk stated that deterring conflict requires national readiness, outlining four strategic pillars for Polish security: secure borders, strong international alliances, military investments, and continuous economic growth. Polish military leadership, including Chief of the General Staff General Wiesław Kukuła, confirmed full operational readiness across the participating ground, air, and naval units.
