A US-Ukraine Patriot missile co-production deal is delayed past winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes kill five at a warehouse near Moscow and hit other Russian retail sites.

US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker confirmed that a bilateral agreement between Washington and Kyiv to co-produce Patriot air defense interceptor missiles will not be finalized before the upcoming winter. While interceptor manufacturing remains a long-term goal, Whitaker noted that broader collaborative efforts with European allies to produce other air defense equipment remain active.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone attacks hit several logistics and commercial sites across Russian territory. According to Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov, a drone strike on a warehouse near the capital resulted in at least five deaths and injured ten others. Regional officials also reported overnight drone strikes targeting facilities connected to the retail platform Wildberries in both the Saint Petersburg and Tver regions.
