Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a US-backed 15-point peace plan for Gaza, stating troops will remain until Hamas disarms.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected a 15-point Gaza peace proposal backed by US President Donald Trump. Speaking to his cabinet, Netanyahu declared that "Israel rejects the 15-point document" and reaffirmed that military forces "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed."

The rejection comes despite a recent slowdown in Israeli military strikes following diplomatic pressure from Washington. Netanyahu faces balancing domestic political demands ahead of parliamentary elections scheduled for October 27, where he must manage pressure from far-right coalition partners alongside relations with the US.
