Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected a 15-point Gaza peace plan backed by US President Donald Trump, demanding full disarmament of Hamas prior to any military withdrawal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected a 15-point Gaza peace plan endorsed by US President Donald Trump, insisting that Israeli forces will not leave the enclave until Hamas is completely disarmed. Addressing his cabinet in televised remarks, Netanyahu stated that the military "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed and will continue to thwart threats against our forces."

The stance marks a direct public disagreement with Washington, despite recent reductions in Israeli offensive military operations in Gaza following American diplomatic pressure. Hamas accepted the framework late last month. Netanyahu's decision comes ahead of Israel's national election on October 27, where he faces competing pressure from far-right coalition partners opposing concessions and the US administration seeking progress toward a resolution.
