Ukraine's General Staff reported up to 254 combat engagements over 24 hours as heavy Russian attacks continued across the eastern frontline, alongside Ukrainian advances near Kupyansk.

Active fighting persists across the eastern front, with Ukraine's General Staff recording up to 254 combat engagements over a 24-hour period. Heavy Russian offensive pressure remains centered on the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions, supported by extensive drone deployments, artillery shelling, and airstrikes.

North of Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces conducted infantry operations along the right bank of the Oskil River after suppressing Russian drone capabilities in the sector. Reports also indicate potential Ukrainian gains near Lyman, where Russian troops mounted dozens of attack attempts. Meanwhile, Russian defense officials claimed territorial advances near Sumy while denying reports of Ukrainian progress in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian strikes additionally targeted military targets in the Kyiv region.
