Ukrainian forces report over 220 combat engagements in 24 hours as both Ukrainian and Russian militaries claim tactical developments across multiple frontline sectors.

Heavy fighting continues along eastern and southern frontlines in Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting over 220 combat engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces mounted high-intensity assaults, particularly in the Pokrovsk sector where Ukrainian troops repelled 21 attacks, as well as along the South Slobozhan axis.

Reports indicate shifting positions across several sectors. Ukrainian troops made progress north of Kupiansk along the Oskil River and secured gains near Lyman. Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed to have captured several settlements near Sumy and targeted ammunition depots in the Kyiv region. In Zaporizhzhia, Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied reports of Ukrainian advances.
