EU warns Moscow over drone incidents as Russia targets Ukrainian energy grid

Russia launched renewed drone strikes against Kyiv and Ukrainian energy targets, while the EU warned Moscow over explosive drone incidents in Leipzig.
Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv overnight, injuring at least one person, as Moscow announced a renewed campaign targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The aerial attacks intensified following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's address to the United Nations General Assembly. In response, Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries have disrupted domestic supply, forcing Moscow to import petroleum products.
Concurrently, European Union officials raised security concerns after German authorities identified two suspects linked to Moscow in connection with explosive drone incidents in Leipzig. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned that the bloc "will not tolerate attacks" on member states and confirmed readiness to respond to foreign aggression on EU territory.
