Heavy strikes across Ukraine and Russia have caused dozens of casualties as frontline fighting intensifies in Kharkiv and Donetsk, alongside cross-border drone attacks.

Deadly cross-border bombardments and intense ground clashes have caused widespread casualties across Ukraine and Russia. Russian missile and drone attacks on Kharkiv and Kyiv killed at least 19 people and injured dozens more, damaging residential areas, businesses, and civilian infrastructure. On the front lines, Russian forces advanced near Artilne and applied pressure around Kostyantynivka, while Ukrainian units pressed toward Uspenivka.

Simultaneously, extensive Ukrainian drone strikes targeted multiple Russian regions. In Krasnodar Krai, a drone fell onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, killing seven people and injuring approximately 40. In the Moscow region, drone strikes left five dead and ten injured, while in the Leningrad region, intercepted drones caused a major fire at a commercial warehouse. Additionally, Belarus announced the creation of an air assault brigade near its border with Ukraine.
