Deadly drone strikes hit Russian warehouses and resort beach as clashes escalate

Long-range drone strikes and ground clashes continue to inflict casualties across Ukraine and Russia. Overnight Ukrainian aerial attacks targeted commercial logistics facilities, igniting warehouse fires at e-commerce retailer Wildberries in the Leningrad and Moscow regions and leaving at least six people dead. In the Krasnodar region, a drone crash on a Black Sea beach near Gelendzhik killed seven people, including three children, and injured approximately 40 others.

Inside Ukraine, a Russian bombardment of Kyiv resulted in nine fatalities and 33 injuries. Along active frontlines, Russian units pushed near Artelne in the Kharkiv region and advanced into Kostiantynivka, while Ukrainian forces progressed toward Uspenivka in southern Donetsk. Concurrently, Belarusian military officials announced the formation of an air assault brigade deployed near the Ukrainian border.
