Deadly air strikes and front-line clashes escalate across Ukraine and Russia

Deadly cross-border aerial bombardments and ground battles have escalated across Ukraine and Russia.

In Ukraine, Russian strikes killed at least ten people in Kharkiv and nine in Kyiv, heavily damaging residential and commercial infrastructure. Ground clashes continued along the front lines, with Russian forces registering tactical advances in the Kharkiv sector near Artilne, while Ukrainian troops pressed forward near Uspenivka.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone barrages struck several Russian regions. Officials confirmed five fatalities and ten injuries following warehouse blazes in Moscow Oblast, alongside another depot fire near Saint Petersburg. In Krasnodar Krai, regional authorities reported that seven people died and dozens sustained injuries when a drone crashed onto a Black Sea beach near Gelendzhik.
