Deadly aerial strikes hit Ukraine and Russia amid intensifying drone attacks

Heavy cross-border strikes and frontline clashes have caused substantial casualties across Ukraine and Russia.

Russian bombardments hit residential and commercial infrastructure in Kharkiv and Kyiv, leaving at least 19 people dead and dozens injured. Ground fighting persisted along the eastern front, with Russian forces pressing tactical advantages near Artilne and Kostyantynivka, while Ukrainian troops advanced near Uspenivka. In Belarus, military authorities announced the formation of an air assault brigade near the border.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone operations struck targets across Russian territory. A drone impact on a Black Sea beach in Krasnodar Krai's Arkhipo-Osipovka killed seven people and injured around 40. Strikes in the Moscow region caused five deaths and ten injuries, while logistical warehouses caught fire in both the Moscow and Leningrad regions.
