Deadly aerial strikes hit Ukraine and Russia amid intense frontline clashes

Intensified aerial strikes and frontline engagements continue to cause casualties across Ukraine and Russia.

Russian missile and drone barrages struck urban areas in Ukraine, killing at least ten people in Kharkiv and nine in Kyiv, alongside dozens of injuries and substantial destruction of civilian infrastructure. On the battlefield, Russian forces made tactical pushes on the Kharkiv axis near Artilne, while Ukrainian troops pressed forward near Uspenivka in southern Donetsk.

Concurrently, Ukrainian drone operations targeted multiple Russian territories. In Moscow Oblast, regional officials reported five deaths and ten injuries after strikes sparked warehouse fires. Another logistics hub caught fire near Saint Petersburg following drone activity. On the Black Sea coast in Krasnodar Krai, local authorities confirmed seven fatalities and approximately 40 injuries after a drone came down on a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka.
