Deadly aerial attacks and intense fighting strike Ukraine and Russia

Cross-border strikes and intense frontline clashes have caused substantial casualties across Ukraine and Russia.

Russian bombardments on urban centers killed at least ten people in Kharkiv and nine in Kyiv, injuring dozens and damaging residential and commercial infrastructure. Along the front line, Russian forces achieved tactical gains near Artilne, while Ukrainian troops advanced toward Uspenivka. Meanwhile, Belarus announced plans to station a new air assault brigade along its southern border.

Concurrently, large-scale Ukrainian drone operations struck multiple Russian regions. In Moscow Oblast, drone impacts killed five people and injured ten, igniting warehouse fires. Another logistics facility caught fire in Leningrad Oblast. In Krasnodar Krai, seven people died and approximately 40 were injured after a drone crashed onto a Black Sea beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka.
