Cross-border drone strikes hit Russian logistics hubs and cause casualties across regions

Recent cross-border strikes have inflicted heavy casualties and commercial damage across Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian drone attacks targeted Russian logistics hubs, igniting fires at a Wildberries warehouse near Saint Petersburg and six Ozon facilities, including a site in Makhachkala. The strikes on e-commerce infrastructure caused Ozon shares to plunge by nearly 30 percent.

In Moscow Oblast, a commercial warehouse strike killed five people and injured ten. A separate drone incident on a Krasnodar Krai beach left seven dead and approximately 40 injured. Meanwhile, Russian bombardments on Kyiv killed nine civilians and wounded 33. On the battlefield, Russian troops secured tactical gains near Artelne, while Ukrainian forces advanced toward Velyka Novosilka. Reports also indicate Belarus is forming a new air assault brigade near the Ukrainian border.
