Deadly cross-border drone strikes hit logistics sites in Russia and civilian areas in Kyiv, alongside fierce ground fighting in Kharkiv and Donetsk.

Intensified cross-border drone strikes and frontline battles continue to cause casualties and infrastructural damage across Ukraine and Russia. Overnight Ukrainian drone raids struck several Russian regions, targeting distribution warehouses belonging to the e-commerce firm Wildberries in the Leningrad and Moscow regions. Russian regional officials confirmed at least five deaths and ten injuries in the Moscow region, while an uncrewed aerial vehicle crash on a Black Sea beach near Gelendzhik killed seven people. Other reporting placed the direct death toll from the regional strikes at six.

Concurrently, a Russian strike on Kyiv killed nine civilians and injured dozens. On the front lines, Russian units made tactical gains near Artelne in the Kharkiv sector, while Ukrainian forces sustained localized counterattacks toward Uspenivka. Monitoring reports also indicated that Belarus is establishing a new air assault brigade near its border with Ukraine.
