Bulgaria clarifies findings on crashed military drone

Bulgarian defence officials clarified that a crashed military drone linked to models used by Ukrainian forces shows no evidence of a deliberate attack on national territory.
Bulgaria's Ministry of Defence has released further details regarding an unmanned aerial vehicle that recently crashed in the northeastern part of the country. Officials noted that while the recovered hardware corresponds to models commonly operated by Ukraine's armed forces, preliminary assessments show no signs of a deliberate strike against Bulgarian territory or critical infrastructure.
Specialised military personnel continue to analyse the recovered components to determine the exact trajectory, origin, and technical malfunction that brought the drone down. The device produced no casualties or ground damage when it came down without detonating. Bulgarian authorities maintain ongoing communication with NATO allies as the technical evaluation proceeds.
