Israel's Security Cabinet has rejected a proposed 15-point ceasefire roadmap for the Gaza Strip, communicating to Washington that the framework is unacceptable in its present form. Drafted with input from Egypt and Hamas, the plan includes a complete cessation of hostilities, a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces, and the transfer of administrative control to a technocratic Palestinian committee.

Despite Israel's formal refusal, the US-led Peace Council announced the transition to the ceasefire's second phase. Concurrently, reports indicate that the council's initial reconstruction contract focuses on building a military installation inside Gaza designed to house roughly 150 Moroccan security personnel as part of planned multinational arrangements.

Iran and Oman are finalising an agreement defining the coordinates for a commercial maritime corridor through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian officials. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the draft is in its "final stage," though he cautioned that the bilateral framework alone cannot ensure full navigation security, warning against third-party interference.
