US threatens further strikes on Iran following military exchange in Persian Gulf

U.S. President Donald Trump warned Iran of potential further military action after strikes on Bandar Abbas and Sirik, while Tehran vowed to respond to aggression.
U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran of additional military strikes following the first direct exchange of fire between Washington and Tehran in a month. Speaking after U.S. forces targeted Iranian military sites in Bandar Abbas and Sirik, Trump claimed Iranian leadership is "begging" for a diplomatic agreement with the United States.
In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran does not seek a wider war but warned that his country will "decisively respond to aggressors." Meanwhile, Iranian naval officials dismissed reports of severe destruction, asserting that their forces remain operational along the southern coast. Regional tensions remain elevated as both sides monitor potential further escalations.
