US President Donald Trump ruled out planned talks with Iran amid rising maritime tensions, while Gaza peace negotiations remain stalled over disarmament demands.

US President Donald Trump has stated that no diplomatic discussions are currently scheduled with Iran, reaffirming his administration's stance that Tehran will not be permitted to develop nuclear weapons. The statement comes after reports that a vessel was struck in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Washington warned it could intervene militarily if Iranian or Omani forces interfere with international maritime navigation. Iranian leadership responded by warning that its military will shift to an offensive posture if diplomatic options with the United States fail.

Meanwhile, negotiations regarding the conflict in Gaza remain at an impasse. Although Hamas announced its acceptance of the second phase of a US-backed peace framework, Israeli officials maintained that troops will not withdraw from the enclave without the complete disarmament of Hamas.
