US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents with plotting assassinations and sabotage, while Denmark reported Russian attacks on its defense industry.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with executing a global campaign of targeted assassinations and sabotage. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited operatives across North America and Europe to surveil and attack individuals supporting Ukraine. The charges detail multiple covert operations, including a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service disclosed at a Copenhagen conference that Moscow has carried out sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish authorities characterized the acts as a serious escalation in Russian hybrid warfare tactics against Western nations assisting Ukraine.
