US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over global plots targeting Ukraine supporters, while a German court convicted a man over a Russian parcel bomb scheme.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have unsealed an indictment against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals globally to conduct surveillance and execute targeted attacks across Europe and North America, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Meanwhile, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for participating in a parcel bomb scheme linked to a Russian state entity. Investigators found that the operation involved mailing packages equipped with tracking devices from Germany to Ukraine to compromise public security.
