US federal prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over targeted killings, while a German court convicted a man over a Russian-linked parcel bomb scheme.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating an international campaign of surveillance, sabotage, and targeted killings. According to officials, the suspects recruited individuals in the US and across Europe to track and target supporters of Ukraine, including a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five defendants remain at large.

Concurrently, a regional court in Stuttgart, Germany, convicted a Ukrainian national for participating in a parcel bomb scheme linked to a Russian state entity. Prosecutors stated that the operation involved mailing packages containing explosives and GPS trackers to inflict damage and destabilize public confidence in European security.
