US prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian agents accused of plotting assassinations and sabotage against Ukraine supporters.
United States prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents for plotting targeted assassinations and sabotage operations against supporters of Ukraine in North America and Europe.
According to Manhattan federal court documents, the operatives recruited individuals to surveil and eliminate targets, linking the network to a June 2024 attack in Prague. Department of Justice officials confirmed that all five suspects remain at large.
Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives targeted Danish defense manufacturers delivering supplies to Kyiv. Danish authorities characterized these acts as a significant escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy across Europe.
