US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents over global sabotage and murder plots targeting supporters of Ukraine, while Denmark reported hybrid attacks on defense suppliers.

US federal prosecutors in Manhattan have charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents with conspiring to carry out assassination and sabotage plots targeting allies of Ukraine across North America and Europe. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects recruited and attempted to pay individuals to surveil and attack targets perceived to be aligned with Kyiv, including involvement in a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five accused operatives remain at large.

In a related development, Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service reported at a Copenhagen conference that Russian operatives conducted sabotage against Danish defense companies manufacturing military hardware for Ukraine. Danish officials described the incidents as an escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy across Europe.
