US authorities charged five alleged Russian operatives over global sabotage and murder plots, as Denmark reported Russian attacks on its defense sector.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence agents with managing a covert network tasked with carrying out sabotage and targeted killings across Europe and North America. American officials stated that the suspects recruited and paid proxies to surveil and attack individuals and infrastructure supporting Ukraine.

Concurrently, Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives executed direct sabotage against Danish defense companies manufacturing military equipment for Kyiv. Danish authorities described the actions as a significant escalation in Moscow’s hybrid tactics intended to disrupt Western military assistance. All five suspects charged by American prosecutors remain at large.
