US federal prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over targeted assassination and sabotage plots across Western nations supporting Ukraine.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with directing a global network responsible for targeted killings and sabotage across Europe and North America. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects recruited and paid operatives to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks against individuals aligned with Ukraine. All five suspects remain at large.

In a related development, a German regional court in Stuttgart convicted a Ukrainian national involved in a parcel-bomb scheme linked to a Russian state entity. Prosecutors stated that the operation entailed sending GPS-tracked packages across Europe to cause disruption and weaken trust in public security infrastructure.
