Tensions rise between the US and Iran following strikes near Bandar Abbas, with Donald Trump warning of further actions and Tehran vowing a decisive response.

Military tensions between the United States and Iran escalated following American strikes targeting areas near Bandar Abbas and Sirik. US President Donald Trump warned of additional attacks should Tehran launch retaliatory actions, claiming that Iranian leadership is eager to secure a diplomatic deal.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran does not seek a broader war, though he cautioned that the nation will "decisively respond to aggressors." Iranian naval commanders also dismissed claims of widespread operational damage, maintaining that regional defense systems remain functional. Despite the sharp public rhetoric, diplomatic communication channels between Washington and Tehran reportedly remain active.
