US and Iran exchange warnings following coastal military strikes

US President Donald Trump threatened further military strikes against Iran, while Tehran warned it will respond decisively to any aggression.
US President Donald Trump has warned of further military actions against Iran following American strikes on coastal locations near Bandar Abbas and Sirik. Trump claimed that Iranian leadership is "begging" for a diplomatic agreement with Washington.
In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran does not seek broader escalation but will "respond decisively" to further aggression. Iranian military officials also maintained that their naval forces remain fully operational despite the recent US strikes. The exchange represents the first direct military confrontation between Washington and Tehran in a month, raising regional tensions as both nations signal readiness to respond to further developments.
