Ukrainian service members and veterans call for reforms addressing supply shortages, unequal award distribution, mobilization policies, and lack of frontline rotations.

Ukrainian service members and veterans are voicing concerns over systemic logistical, administrative, and operational challenges within the armed forces. Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel criticized the lack of troop rotations, stating that prolonged deployments without relief undermine morale and readiness. Meanwhile, drone unit commander Yuriy Butusov reported that officers must independently procure critical supplies due to an absence of institutional accountability in logistics.

Administrative issues also persist. According to research highlighted by Ukrainska Pravda, official commendations are disproportionately assigned to brigade headquarters rather than frontline soldiers. Additionally, service member Pavlo Kazarin called for structural adjustments to military medical evaluation boards and mobilization deferment policies to ensure greater fairness across society.
