Ukrainian drone strikes cause casualties in Russia as frontline fighting intensifies

A series of Ukrainian drone strikes targeted several Russian regions, inflicting human casualties and industrial damage. In Krasnodar Krai, regional officials confirmed seven fatalities, including three children, after a drone crashed on a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Strikes across Moscow Oblast resulted in five deaths and ten injuries.

In Leningrad Oblast, air defenses intercepted 17 drones over Krasny Bor. Falling debris sparked a fire at a Wildberries e-commerce warehouse for a second consecutive night, injuring one worker.

Meanwhile, Russian strikes on Kyiv killed nine people and injured 33. On the frontlines, Russian forces achieved tactical gains near Artelne in Kharkiv Oblast, while Ukrainian troops pushed forward near Uspenivka in Donetsk Oblast. Additionally, Belarus reportedly formed a new air assault brigade near the Ukrainian border.
