Trump urges Ukraine and Russia to reach deal to end war before winter

U.S. President Donald Trump has called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate an agreement to end the war in Ukraine prior to winter. Speaking following a telephone conversation with Putin, Trump stated that the Russian leader seeks a resolution, adding, "if Zelensky wants a deal, that would be great."
