US President Donald Trump warned of additional military action against Iran following explosions near Bandar Abbas, as Iranian leadership pledged to respond to any aggression.

Tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated following a direct exchange of military fire, with explosions reported near the coastal Iranian cities of Bandar Abbas and Sirik.

US President Donald Trump issued warnings of additional military action should Iranian forces retaliate, asserting that leadership in Tehran is "begging" for a diplomatic agreement with Washington. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded by stating that while Iran does not seek an expanded conflict, the country will "respond decisively to aggressors." Iranian naval officials confirmed that their forces remain fully operational despite the recent military exchanges.

Direct diplomatic negotiations between both nations remain stalled as armed forces maintain heightened readiness across the region.
