US President Donald Trump faces scrutiny over revised Ukraine ties, threats against sources reporting munitions shortages, and controversial domestic immigration actions.

The foreign and domestic policies of US President Donald Trump remain under scrutiny across security, diplomatic, and domestic fronts. Diplomatic relations between Washington and Kyiv have warmed significantly following an earlier Oval Office dispute, supported by Ukraine's long-range strikes into Russian territory and planned licensing for Patriot air defence systems.

At the same time, Trump publicly rejected reports alleging domestic munitions shortages tied to hostilities with Iran, threatening confidential sources with prosecution. The denial coincided with confirmation that Trump discreetly changed aircraft following a NATO summit in Ankara amid Iranian security warnings. Domestically, immigration authorities have faced scrutiny after detaining the partners of Trump voters, alongside reports that future overseas military troop reductions could be linked to political alignment.
