US President Donald Trump has ruled out talks with Iran while tensions rise in the Strait of Hormuz and ceasefire efforts in Gaza remain stalled.

US President Donald Trump has stated that no diplomatic negotiations with Iran are currently planned, reiterating his stance that Tehran must not acquire nuclear weapons. Trump warned of possible military action if Iranian or Omani forces disrupt maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz following reports of a targeted vessel in the area. In response, Iranian officials warned that their armed forces will adopt an offensive posture if diplomatic engagements with Washington fail.

Meanwhile, efforts to secure a peace framework in Gaza remain at a standstill. Although Hamas announced its acceptance of the second phase of a US-backed peace proposal, Israeli leadership maintained that troop withdrawals will not occur until Hamas is fully disarmed.
