U.S. President Donald Trump has urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate an end to the war before winter. Speaking after a telephone call with Putin, Trump expressed confidence that the Russian leader seeks a resolution, stating that "if Zelensky wants an agreement, that would be great."
Zelensky described his recent meeting with Trump as "positive and productive," sharing on social media that both Washington and Kyiv aim to stop the conflict in the coming months. Despite the optimistic statements, neither side disclosed specific terms or a framework for potential diplomatic negotiations.
