US strikes near Bandar Abbas and Sirik prompt warnings from Donald Trump, while Iran's President Pezeshkian vows a decisive response to aggression.

Military tensions between Washington and Tehran escalated following recent United States airstrikes hitting targets near Bandar Abbas and Sirik. US President Donald Trump issued warnings against Iranian retaliation, stating that further military action would follow any response from Tehran. Trump additionally claimed that Iranian leadership is eager to secure a diplomatic agreement with the United States.

In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian clarified that Tehran does not desire an expanded regional conflict. However, Pezeshkian asserted that Iran will deliver a "decisive response" to any foreign aggression against its sovereign territory. Meanwhile, Iranian military officials disputed reports regarding naval losses, maintaining that their maritime forces remain operational despite the strikes.
