The Sweden Democrats have reshuffled parliamentary leadership while party leader Jimmie Åkesson continues to demand cabinet seats despite a drop to 17.5 percent.

Following its first-ever drop in parliamentary support, the Sweden Democrats have initiated a leadership reshuffle among key parliamentary representatives. Outgoing group leader Linda Lindberg clarified that "there is no dissatisfaction with anyone" concerning the reorganization.

Despite the party's national vote share falling to 17.5 percent, leader Jimmie Åkesson maintains demands for cabinet positions, asserting that "there is no obvious winner in this election." The party saw voters shift toward the Moderate Party, particularly among younger demographics. Conversely, municipal results provided a major success in Färgelanda, where the party secured 39 percent of the vote following local school policy debates.
