At least five people were killed and 16 injured following nearly 60 Russian attacks across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region.

At least five people were killed and 16 others sustained injuries after Russian forces launched nearly 60 attacks across five districts in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period, local firefighters reported.

The bombardments inflicted severe damage and casualties, particularly in the Kamianske district, where three individuals died and five were injured. In Pavlohrad, two fatalities and seven injuries were recorded, while additional casualties and structural blazes were reported in the Nikopol district. Emergency response crews worked throughout the day to extinguish fires ignited by the artillery and drone strikes.

The escalations occurred on day 1,625 of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, as civilian areas across eastern regions continue to endure persistent bombardment.
