Russian attacks kill five and injure 16 in Dnipropetrovsk region

At least five civilians were killed and 16 others sustained injuries following widespread Russian bombardments targeting Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region over a 24-hour period. Local emergency responders reported nearly 60 separate strikes across five districts in the area.

The heaviest casualty counts occurred in the Kamianske district, where three individuals lost their lives and five suffered injuries. In Pavlohrad, shelling resulted in two fatalities and seven wounded residents. Additional casualties and infrastructure damage were recorded in the Nikopol district, where rescue crews were dispatched to extinguish fires and clear wreckage.

The intensive artillery and drone strikes reflect ongoing hostilities and growing civilian casualties across central Ukrainian territory.
