At least five people were killed and 16 injured following a wave of nearly 60 Russian strikes across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, emergency officials reported.

Russian bombardments across Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region killed at least five people and injured 16 others over a 24-hour period, local emergency services reported. Russian forces carried out nearly 60 strikes targeting five separate districts in the central Ukrainian province.

The heaviest losses were recorded in the Kamianske district, where three residents died and five sustained injuries. In Pavlohrad, shelling left two people dead and seven wounded. Additional casualties and significant damage to local infrastructure occurred in the Nikopol district, where rescue personnel worked to extinguish fires and clear debris. Emergency operations remained ongoing across the targeted areas as authorities assessed the full extent of the damage.
