Multiple commercial cargo ships face drone and munition strikes in recent incidents across the Black Sea and off the coast of Oman.

Several commercial cargo ships have recently come under attack in the Black Sea and near the Strait of Hormuz, according to maritime reports.

In the Black Sea, a Turkish-owned vessel named the Nadezhda was struck by a drone approximately 20 nautical miles off the coast while traveling from Novorossiysk, Russia, to Samsun, Turkey. Turkish maritime authorities confirmed that three crew members suffered critical injuries in the strike. Additionally, a Palau-flagged dry cargo ship, the AGN Ragnar, was towed to Turkey's Zonguldak port for repairs following a July 25 drone attack near Ukraine's Sulina channel.

Separately, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations reported an incident off the coast of Oman. A cargo vessel sailing 20 nautical miles northeast of Khasab alerted authorities via radio that it was hit by unidentified munition, prompting an official investigation.
