Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a US-backed 15-point Gaza peace plan, demanding the full disarmament of Hamas before any troop withdrawal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected the US-backed 15-point peace plan for Gaza, insisting Israeli forces will not withdraw until Hamas is completely disarmed. In televised cabinet remarks on Sunday, Netanyahu directly addressed the proposal announced last month by US President Donald Trump, stating that Israel "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed."

The framework, endorsed by Hamas in late July, aimed to establish a long-term resolution to the conflict. Although Israeli military operations in Gaza have recently moderated amid diplomatic pressure from Washington, Netanyahu's refusal underscores persistent policy disagreements with the US administration. The prime minister also faces domestic political pressure ahead of Israel's national election scheduled for October 27.
