NATO forces intensified maneuvers around Kaliningrad as Russian air strikes hit Kyiv for a sixth day and reports surfaced of covert Russian drone launch bases near NATO borders.

US-led NATO forces have intensified aerial and ground maneuvers around Russia's Kaliningrad enclave, deploying American and Norwegian fighter jets alongside reconnaissance aircraft and Polish infantry. The alliance characterized the actions as routine measures to enhance defensive capabilities. Simultaneously, NATO scrambled Baltic Air Policing jets in Latvia, while Finland restricted transit near its eastern border amid heightened regional tension.

The developments coincide with a sixth straight day of Russian strikes targeting Kyiv, which resulted in four deaths and 15 injuries. Meanwhile, a British media investigation indicated that Moscow has constructed ten secret launch sites near NATO borders. According to the report, these facilities accommodate long-range suicide drones, with several locations currently operational in strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure.
