Russian strikes killed at least 17 people in the Kyiv region, while Portuguese drone manufacturer Tekever dismissed concerns following reports that Moscow captured one of its drones.

Russian strikes on the Kyiv region killed at least 17 people and injured dozens more after Ukrainian air defense systems failed to intercept incoming missiles. Air raid alerts sounded for over an hour across the capital, damaging residential areas and warehouses. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky renewed calls for Western allies to supply advanced air defense capabilities, stating that "interceptors of ballistic missiles could have saved lives." While Ukrainian officials accused Moscow of hitting civilian infrastructure, Russian authorities asserted that the operation focused exclusively on military assets.

Separately, Portuguese manufacturer Tekever addressed reports from Russian state media claiming Moscow captured one of its drones deployed by Ukrainian forces. The company declined to comment on specific operational details, but stated that its technology is continuously evolving and that any potential capture would not compromise its systems.
