Overnight Russian missile strikes on Kyiv left up to 17 dead, while Serbian President Vucic denied exporting arms to Ukraine following talks with Zelensky.

At least 14 to 17 people were killed and dozens injured during severe overnight Russian bombardments across the Kyiv region, according to Ukrainian authorities. Air raid sirens sounded for over an hour as Ukrainian air defense systems failed to intercept incoming missiles. Damage was reported across residential areas and commercial warehouses. While Russian officials maintained that the operations targeted military facilities, Ukrainian leadership accused Moscow of striking civilian infrastructure. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky renewed calls for Western allies to supply advanced ballistic missile interceptors, stating that such systems "could have saved lives."

Separately, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic denied claims that Belgrade was exporting weapons to Ukraine following a bilateral meeting with Zelensky. Ukrainian officials framed the diplomatic engagement as an effort to pull Serbia away from its traditional alignment with Moscow.
