Ukrainian forces conduct localized counterattacks near Kupiansk while repelling heavy Russian assaults across the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors.

Heavy combat continues across Ukraine's eastern and southern fronts, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recording between 221 and 254 daily combat engagements. Russian forces maintained intense pressure in the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors, attempting repeated assaults against Ukrainian positions.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian infantry conducted localized sweeping operations along the right bank of the Oskil River, supported by electronic warfare units that suppressed enemy drones. Reports also indicated potential Ukrainian territorial consolidation of up to 200 square kilometers near Lyman.

Contrasting battlefield reports persist across secondary sectors. Russia's Ministry of Defense claimed to have captured several settlements near Sumy, while Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied Ukrainian tactical progress in Zaporizhzhia. Ukrainian military officials maintained that Russian assault attempts across these sectors were repelled.
