Deadly wave of drone strikes across Sudan leaves over 100 dead

A series of drone strikes across Sudan has killed over 100 civilians, prompting UN condemnation as fighting intensifies between the army and paramilitary forces.
A series of drone attacks across several regions of Sudan has left scores of civilians dead, according to medical sources, witnesses, and local tracking groups. The heaviest casualties were reported in West Kordofan state, where strikes near a market and a funeral gathering killed at least 80 people, with some reports suggesting the toll could exceed 200. Additional drone strikes targeted Nyala in Darfur and the capital, Khartoum, where three children were among the dead.
The Rapid Support Forces and local observers attributed the strikes to the Sudanese armed forces. The United Nations condemned the escalation, with spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stating, "We are alarmed by the continued deadly drone strikes across the country that are killing civilians, including children." The Sudanese military has not publicly commented on the allegations.
