Deadly air strikes hit Kyiv, Kharkiv, and several Russian regions as cross-border bombardments and ground fighting continue.

Intense aerial strikes and ground clashes have resulted in significant casualties across Ukraine and Russia.

Russian missile and drone attacks struck multiple Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, where nine people were killed and over thirty injured, and Kharkiv, where local officials reported at least ten deaths alongside damage to commercial and residential infrastructure. Along the front lines, Russian units achieved tactical gains near Artilne in the Kharkiv sector, while Ukrainian troops continued advances toward Uspenivka.

Concurrently, Ukrainian drone operations targeted several Russian regions. Authorities in Moscow Oblast confirmed five fatalities and ten injuries following warehouse blazes, while another logistics depot caught fire near Saint Petersburg. In Krasnodar Krai, regional officials stated that seven people died and dozens were injured after a drone crashed onto a Black Sea beach.
