CIA Director Ratcliffe makes unannounced visit to Moscow for strategic talks

CIA Director John Ratcliffe made an unannounced visit to Moscow to establish communication channels and warn Russia against overthrowing Ukraine's leadership.
Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe has conducted a secret visit to Moscow to hold high-level discussions with Russian leaders. The unannounced diplomatic mission aimed to open direct lines of communication between Washington and Moscow to mitigate the risk of military escalation in Eastern Europe.
During the talks, American representatives issued explicit warnings to Moscow regarding any plans to remove Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from power or attempt the total military conquest of Ukraine. The meeting underscores a dual strategy by the United States: maintaining essential strategic dialogue while setting firm boundaries regarding Ukrainian sovereignty.
